Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina Michelle was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is of Mexican-American heritage as well as an American by the nationality. Her entire life has been an avid sportsperson. Gerina began playing golf when she was 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. When she was a student in high school she won the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. As a volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. 2003, she began her studies in the University of Texas. She was the only winner of all tournaments she played in during her final years. In the course of her undergraduate studies she was awarded the title as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
