Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty, born on the 1st of October, 1995 was raised in Berkeley, California. She is an American actress who was seen in Choices (2010) and The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).
Asia Argento began her career as an actress in Rome. The family she is from is also a group of filmmakers. She began her career in film at age nine in Sergio Citti's Sogni bisogni. At the age of eighteen she had become the main character of Cristina Comencini's Zoo as well as a part of Michele Soavi's The Church. The following year she played Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon It was in the film Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she could change from portraying young girls into more complex, mature role. The film was highly acclaimed at the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicole Nicolodi was Argento's loved actress, and she was portrayed as a teenage anorexic searching for her parents murderer in Trauma. Dario Argento's The Phantom of the Opera is the third film she's produced with her father, the others being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome Asia's absorbed her intense, dramatic style was fully utilized in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze . Her role as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di the vista, a physically handicapped girl, was a difficult and complicated role that brought she the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actor. The film also featured her in a major part on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995, she starred alongside Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again won her a David di Donatello and an award of Grolla oro. Asia's debut short film was an episode in the De Generazione movie. Two years following, Asia became a director and completed two other films. One of them, AbelAsia a tribute to her father. Asia debuted as a director in 1999 with Scarlet Diva. The film was also the main screenwriter and actor. The film was released May 20th, 2000 in Italy as well as in various several other countries. This film was awarded by the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York.
